Wedding Ring

Last night Eyegirl and I had a discussion about wedding rings. The gist of the conversation was that we are a fairly non-traditional couple and feel that we should do what we think is best in our own circumstance, rather than what societal expectation dictates we do. She asked if I wanted to wear my wedding ring, and I thought it over. I came up with no reason that I should not. I am living my life with her and am committed to her already, and that is what the wedding ring symbolizes. So, last night we sat down to watch a movie together when she got the box out and offered me the ring. I've never been one to wear rings, but it is a comfortable fit and I enjoy wearing it!
