Sunday Survey

This survey came from here, and it looked like fun. So, since I have nothing more exciting to post about today, I decided to share this with you.


TEN HOW'S:

How did you get one of your scars?

My worst scar is one across the front of my shin that I got from the dog's tie out cable. Zoe & Lexi were outside playing with the neighbor's puppy. Except my dogs do not stay in the yard when they are off their leashes, and it scares the crap out of me when they get loose. So, I did not take them off their tie outs when the puppy came into our yard. So, the three of them were running around chasing each other, and Zoe ran by and turned to come behind me and caught me with her tie out across the shin. I'm lucky she didn't knock me off my feet, but I managed to remain standing. I have one hell of a nasty looking scar from it though. It is slowly fading, and once it is no longer red, it should look much better. However, it happened about 9 months ago, so I'm not sure how much better it is actually going to get.

How did you celebrate your last birthday?

My last birthday was rather uneventful and it depressed me. I worked and then went to school on my birthday. That evening I went to see a movie, and went out to dinner with my parents a few days after my birthday.

How are you feeling at this moment?

Like I don't want to be doing the things I should be doing. That's kind of the story of my life.

How did your night go last night?

No complaints, but I didn't really do much of anything. Wrote a few posts, read a few posts, went to bed. Don't I live an exciting life?

How did you do in high school?

Pretty well actually. I've always been a good student.

How did you get the shirt you're wearing?

I bought it several years ago (like maybe 11. Yikes!) on a trip to Charlevoix, Michigan with my parents and ex-husband. Maybe it's time to retire it, but I don't leave the house in it. Does that help?

How often do you see your best friend?

Sadly, only about once or twice a year since we live in different states.

How much money did you spend last month?

I'm not exactly sure, but I do keep track of all of my expenses, so I could figure it out if I really wanted to. I'm sure it was more than I should have spent!

How old do you want to be when you get married?

Well since I'm getting married before my next birthday, and I'm 35 now, I guess I have to say 35!

How old will you be at your next birthday?

36. Yikes!


NINE WHAT'S:

Your mothers name?

Mom. Or at least that's what I like to call her.

What did you do last weekend?

Nothing. That seems to be the norm these days. I really need to get out more.

What is the most important part of your life?

Family & Friends

What would you rather be doing?

Laying on a beach, sipping a drink with an umbrella in it, and reading a book.

What did you last cry over?

I don't remember. Perhaps a sad movie. Or perhaps frustration.

What always makes you feel better when you're upset?

The One (or if he's not around then Chocolate. Lots and lots of Chocolate.)

What's the most important thing you look for in a significant other?

Compatibility.

What are you worried about?

Nothing really.

What did you have for breakfast?

Cereal.

Where did you sleep last night?

In my bed, with The One, Zoe, and Lexi. We rarely let the dogs in the bed, but The One went to bed before I did, and said he was going to let Zoe sleep with him until I came to bed and brought Lexi with me. When I came to bed with Lexi, I just let her get in the bed, too. Of course, they tossed and turned and hogged the bed and kept us awake all night, just like they always do. But we still spoil them sometimes.

Do you like someone right now?

Of course.

Do you think anyone likes you?

I have a feeling that they do.

Do you ever wish you were someone else?

Nope. I'm pretty content with myself and my life.

Do you know the muffin man?

I'm afraid so. I think he's taken up permanent residence around my midsection and takes great pleasure in hanging over the top of my pants when I sit.

Does the future scare you?

Not at all.


FOUR WHY'S:

Why are you best friends with your best friend(s?

Because we've known each other for a gazillon years and we've been through a lot together.

Why did you get a myspace?

I don't remember, but I no longer have it.

Why did your parents give you the name you have?

From my understanding this is how the story goes: My mom had names picked out for me before I was born. I was either going to be Amy Nicole or else Michael/Brent (but I can't remember the order). At the last minute my mom decided that Amy was turning into too common of a name and decided to change it to the name she gave me (which is equally common I might add). Only because it was a last minute change, she'd only ever seen my name written out in one instance, which just so happens to be an unusual spelling of the name. Only my mom didn't realize that, so I have a common name with an unusual spelling that gets messed up ALL THE FREAKING TIME.

Why are you doing this survey?

Because I wanted to do a post today, but was drawing a total, complete, utter blank on a topic. So I cheated and found a survey to answer.

Cut me some slack. It's not like I do that many surveys on here.
